What is Inquisicare Institute?
Inquisicare Institute is a
learning community for healthcare educators seeking to develop their
teaching, service, and research skills. We share best practices and
use principles to guide healthcare providers in their journey to
become culturally responsive practitioners to best prepare future
healthcare providers. Inquisicare Institute offers the Health Equity
in Action Faculty Development Program for healthcare educators
working in or transitioning into academic appointments.
What is the price for tuition?
One-time payment of $4,500, two
payments of $2,250, or 6 payments of $750 for 1-year access to the Health Equity in Action Faculty Development Program curriculum, resources, and
bi-monthly mentorship. Each of the three pathways in the Health Equity in Action Faculty Development Program curriculum is priced at $ 2,000 and can be purchased separately.
Who should apply to the Health Equity in Action Faculty Development Program?
Healthcare educators working full
or part-time in academia. Healthcare providers who are considering
transitioning into an academic position.
Will certificates be awarded?
Learners receive a certificate
for completing each pathway and the year-long program.
When are the mentorship sessions?
Two Mondays per month from 5-6 PM CST. The schedule is posted in the learning management system. If you can't make it, the sessions will be recorded.
Where can I find other resources?
Resources are available in the
modules, discussion boards, and blogs.
Where can I find the community?
TBD - Individual pathway communities and joint overall community available.
